The KBDi panel admired every aspect of the Athea House Kitchen, from Ashley's ingenious concept to the comprehensive plan set; the kitchen design was impeccably executed. The material selections proved both practical and aesthetically pleasing, perfectly aligning with the client's brief for a functional family kitchen featuring a warm and soft palette.

Given the homeowners' penchant for hosting various events, the kitchen was planned to accommodate all occasions, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Overall, it stood out as the clear winner, prompting the panel to declare this entrant the KBDi Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year.
