The Avoca House makes the most of its proximity to Avoca Beach, bringing the beach in at every opportunity.
On an extremely steep and narrow site, the building opens up to uninterrupted views of the lagoon and coastline to the north. The inspiration of the sandy shores and bushland tree canopy are echoed in the rammed earth walls and floating roofs.
