This contemporary ensuite by Hugh-Jones Mackintosh considers the important relationship between bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom’s key fittings, sculptural in nature, are also on show in the bedroom and shared decorative elements link the two rooms. The overall theme is one of soft femininity, a sensual space where the owners can linger.
Sophisticated and contemporary, this powder room has been given a bold, individual charm by Hugh-Jones Mackintosh.
Encouraging their clients to move out of their comfort zone, Hugh-Jones Mackintosh cleverly redesigned this Federation house to create an incredible open-plan space, whilst retaining the home’s original features and sense of proportion.
