A harmonious blend of traditional and retro modern design, this Bayswater home features a sleek black IMO kitchen, a stunning American maple balustrade, and sophisticated double glazed joinery, all while retaining the charm of its 1970s renovation.
This quirky Bayswater home is traditional on the outside and retro modern within. Create + Construct have thoughtfully retained features from the home's 1970's renovation to craft a house that cleverly blends original materials with new stylish fittings.
The interior was remodeled to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. The sleek black IMO kitchen sits lightly in the room and the free standing fireplace is enhanced with a black oxide hearth. New full height double glazed joinery completes the look of sophistication in this graphic home.
The black highlights complement the warmth of timber throughout. A new American maple balustrade and stairwell, a Salusalu dropped ceiling and birch ply linings, all mix to successfully create an overall cohesiveness. And along with fresh paint and clever accessories, this home is one to enjoy for many more years to come.
