A sensitive rework of a seventy’s residence set in mature gardens and organic orchard on the Tauranga harbourfront.
This project had a very unique ethos - the owners have an unmatched passion for the environment, determined to use recycled materials as often as possible, even harvesting some on site (i.e. Blackwood).
The design also focused on the intergration of sustainable building and technology practices, creating a low carbon footprint home that will withstand the test of time.

The rework respects the original architectural language, featuring extensive use of bricks and timber throughout.
