Bondi Courtyard

We wanted to achieve fresh, modern simplicity with this garden courtyard to compliment the recent interior renovation. Given the small size, ultimately the brief was to "update" and "refresh" and make best use of the space.
As is often the case in a small space, the challenge was ensuring there was enough usable living space but also fitting in enough planting to soften and enhance the aesthetic. The channels of mondo grass seek to define two distinct sitting areas; a low lounging area fitted out with loose furniture pieces and a secondary seating area created by a built in bench. We like the versatility of custom bench seating which can be used as is or equally pared with coffee or side tablles, a fire pit or dining table.
The simplicity of the design and colour palette creates a classic and spacious courtyard.
