Broadspectrum Auckland office was previously located in 277 Broadway, New Market. The new office relocated to the city fringe and as a result it was important to achieve a good level of design to attract and retain talent. With a strategy in the workplace that has proven to be successful in Sydney, Auckland took a similar approach. The office space is celebrated with dark stained oak veneer curved walls, timber floors, good lighting, plants and a central collaboration zone/ cafe breakout area referred to as “the courtyard”; The Courtyard splits the space into two main working zones maximising natural light in the work areas for staff.
Collaboration areas and informal meeting environments are defined by ceiling and floor thresholds. It was important for the client to have an Auckland office that forms its own identity while reflecting its counterpart in Sydney. A space that is functional and a place staff are proud to work in.
