"Seamless Integration between Built and Natural Environment"
Located in a quiet cul de sac at Helen Court Drive, Castle Hill: this residence aims to address the sites' irregular shape sloping block and its southeast frontage. Completed in 2019, this home has been designed to maxmise solar access by providing a winter and summer court positioned to the front and back of the dwelling to provide a comfortable dwelling all year round.
The use of sustainable materials such as sustainably harvested timber and low embodied energy materials were integral in designing a footprint-conscious space.
The contemporary garden, with the mixture of grey and green foliage enhances the overall experience while providing shade and privacy.

Justin Loe Architects is an architecture firm operating since 2000, we specialise in creating beautiful spaces that inspire living.
“We spend a large majority of our time in the built environment, whether at home or at work. The connections between people, friends and colleagues happen within these spaces and influence our well being on a daily basis. We aim to create a built environment that encourages living yet be connected to its place. We believe architecture should be functional yet be a source of inspiration and beauty.”
“We listen and work closely with our clients in bringing together their vision and bring our years of design knowledge and experience to evolve each project to create unique solutions. We believe good design requires careful planning and detailing to create comfortable yet distinct spaces.”
“We treat each project as a process of discovery with the aim for our clients to enjoy the design and building process as their project comes to fruition”
