The property is located at Castle Hill area, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and offering a spectacular view of Castle Hill Heritage Park Reserve. The sloping nature of the hillside property, the generous distance from the other residential buildings in the neighborhood combine to give a feeling of expanse, airiness and ample privacy. The extraordinary location, as well as a few special stipulations of the local council codes, suggested the concept of a stepped split-level building. Emphasis was placed on the playful arrangement of the stepped structure. The aim was to afford a maximum of privacy, sunshine and an exterior terrace space.

Oversized sliding glass doors opening the House entirely to deck and the gorgeous surrounding landscape.

The main idea was to integrate the building into the landscape. The variant volumes of the house correspond to the concept of embracing the rocky topography into the new design.
