They also introduced us to Jack Gilbert's poem 'A Brief for the Defense', where we are urged that 'We must risk delight.' And so began a fulfilling collaboration to understand their personality and create a home of considered comfort and delight. Delight is experienced through the articulation of light via specific window and skylight positioning and detailing, multiple bespoke cabinetry elements and specific materiality selections. A second storey window seat allows for a perch to read, relax and to interact with the street from a comfortable place.
