We were thrilled to collaborate with Natural Habitats and Land Lab on a prestigious project at the new Commercial Bay Sky Terrace, a premier destination offering breathtaking views of the Waitematā Harbour.

Our team was selected to bring to life a striking 9m x 2m concrete tabletop, meticulously designed to harmonize with the terrace’s sophisticated aesthetics. This unique project presented an exciting challenge: integrating a concrete tabletop onto a carbon fibre base. To ensure precision and the highest quality finish, we chose to cast the worktop in-situ, allowing for seamless integration with the terrace's design.

For this distinguished project, we chose a special concrete mix design tailored to meet the standards of Land Lab’s vision. We selected premium Peter Fell oxide to achieve a rich, elegant hue and applied a light honed finish to reveal the natural beauty of the aggregates. The result is a stunning, durable worktop that perfectly complements the terrace's modern design and enhances the overall experience of this iconic location.
