A Vision Grounded in Practical Elegance

The brief was clear: create a home that’s both classic and timeless, with everything practical. For this growing family, that meant enhancing the functionality of the layout while layering each space with warmth and personality. The kitchen was repositioned to overlook the backyard, creating a stronger connection between the home’s heart and outdoor living. A scullery with elegant platter racks, a charming powder room, and a custom bar were added to blend beauty with everyday ease.

No detail was left untouched. The exterior also received a thoughtful makeover with the addition of a cabana, expanded living spaces, sandstone rock cladding, and glass balustrades, combining traditional charm with a light modern touch.

Enhancing the Interior with Architectural Detailing

As with all Studio Trio designs, attention to detail played a starring role. To bring refined texture and definition to each space, Intrim’s decorative mouldings were chosen to elevate the interior architecture.

Recessed wainscoting, crafted using IN31 inlay moulds and paired with CR50 chair rails, was introduced in key impact zones such as the entryway, formal living room, and powder room, adding depth and classic character to each space.

SK840 skirting and architraves, paired with SB03 corner blocks were used consistently throughout the home. This classic profile provided a unifying foundation, tying each room together with understated elegance.

These thoughtful detailing choices allowed each space to shine individually while contributing to a harmonious and considered overall design narrative, rooted in timeless style and everyday practicality.
