The Coogee Bay Hotel underwent some major renovations throughout the first half of 2020 – the refurbishment works commenced at the Liquor Barn, followed through to the existing Conference Balcony and finished at the Beach Bar & Brasserie.
The Conference Balcony struggled with existing rotting timber joists & water ingress issues which Calida successfully repaired. The final scope of works included a complete refurbishment to the Beach Bar & Brasserie – this included a new main bar, new Dispense Bar, renovation to the existing Kitchen & new terrazzo tiling throughout. The venue has a speciality plaster finish applied to its walls, with a custom timber panelling detail throughout.
This complements the selection of green tiles & terrazzo on the floors. The project was by Studio Isgro with all construction works completed by Calida.
