A sculptural harbourfront residence in Vaucluse, defined by light, curvature and precision.
Nestled gracefully above Sydney Harbour in Vaucluse, Crescent House is a captivating coastal creation that charms with its curved contours and layered forms. Designed by Matthew Woodward Architecture, this contemporary masterpiece dances with the dance of light, water, and landscape, blending solidity with a splash of fluidity. Off-form concrete meets soft white surfaces and vast glass, crafting a home that feels both grounded and open as if it’s embracing the harbour’s gentle kiss.
Inside, private pockets are perfectly perched to protect and project, while living areas unfold like waves towards horizon-hugging views, inviting the breathtaking surrounds indoors. Captured by Walters Macri Studio, this project isn’t just a pretty picture - it’s a playful portrayal of precision, restraint, and storytelling, showcasing not just a house but a harmonious way of harbour-side living in 2018. A true treasure perched on the precipice of peacefulness and panoramic perfection!
