Ascent on Bourke is a three-level urban logistics facility in Alexandria, designed to maximise industrial capacity on a constrained inner-city site. The project combines high-performance structure, efficient vehicle circulation and sustainable design to deliver a next-generation warehouse supporting Sydney’s growing last-mile logistics network.
Ascent on Bourke is a landmark multi-level urban logistics facility in Alexandria, Sydney, designed to maximise industrial capacity within a constrained inner-city site. Developed to support growing last-mile distribution demand, the three-storey warehouse integrates high-clearance storage, heavy-duty structural design and efficient vehicle circulation.
The building features large structural spans, vertical truck access between levels and expansive loading areas, enabling high-volume logistics operations within a dense urban environment. Its contemporary façade combines robust industrial materials with a refined architectural expression, contributing positively to the surrounding streetscape.
Sustainability initiatives include energy-efficient building systems, rooftop solar infrastructure and water management strategies aimed at reducing operational impact. Ascent on Bourke represents a new generation of industrial development, demonstrating how innovative design and engineering can deliver large-scale logistics infrastructure in tightly constrained metropolitan locations.
