Daisy House

The restoration and extension of this Victorian style home in Essendon was executed through the pandemic, and despite the obstacles faced, this build shows an exemplary level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Greeted by Olde English tiles, the blue front door opens to the restored front rooms including the addition of a master ensuite with walk-through robe. The hallway flows from old to new, opening onto a multizone open plan living space. The kitchen is a particular highlight, featuring leather marble and large retractable doors opening out to an inviting alfresco space.

A top the stairwell is a grand feature window with a unique superimposed digital artwork of snow-capped mountains, installed as a homage to our client’s memories of Canada and the breath-taking views from their balcony.

You are led down the stairs to the lower level of the home. Housing a laundry, third bathroom, bedrooms, and a children's retreat which opens out to the landscaped backyard showcasing a luxurious pool and spa. The garden’s end is met by a double garage with additional storage. The connection between the upper and lower levels is emphasized by a metalwork spiral staircase, which adds to the overall aesthetic of the home.

APC Build has managed to seamlessly blend the old and new elements of the home, while also incorporating the client's individuality, making it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The result is a stunning home that will be cherished for many years to come.
