Loddon Farm was designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape, taking inspiration from the colonial architecture and farm structures of the region, while introducing bold contemporary elements.
Exploring the dynamic interplay between enclosure and expansion, visitors are welcomed by a sweeping driveway terminating in an austere forecourt. It is only on crossing the entry threshold that the stunning vista of the Loddon River valley is revealed. Considerable attention was given to ensuring the home is not only comfortable but also highly efficient, incorporating features such as double glazing, enhanced insulation, air-sourced heat pumps for heating and cooling and an extensive solar power plant.
