Arrowtown - Renovation

Situated in the historic town of Arrowtown, this alteration of an old crib breaths new life and added space without forgetting its roots. Whilst the programme and external appearance are heavily modified the structural bones are kept in tack and additions take the form and proportion of a traditional monopitched outhouse. Materials are paired back to a simple combination of timber, stone and steel to respect the historic precinct and enhance the surrounding neighbourhood.
