Having won both Home of the year 2019 & NZIA 2019 Auckland Architecture Award the Diagrid House sure stands out from the rest. Designed by Jack McKinney Architects The project explores a range of materials in their raw state, deliberately contrasting areas of brightness with darkness, and in places daylight is brought through the gridded roof form with Modular Adlux Roof Windows, and creates a patterning of cast shadows as it interacts with sunlight throughout the day
