Elegant renovations in the historic Dilworth Building, featuring bespoke joinery, a stunning kitchen with a large island, and a striking six-metre floating TV cabinet, all designed to enhance the living experience in downtown Auckland.
The 1920s Dilworth Building on the corner of downtown Auckland’s Queen and Customs Streets is home to some terrific apartments. For this 8th floor eyrie, Haydn & Rollett completed a series of joinery projects, including bespoke cupboards for the laundry, a large white Melteca bookcase with adjustable shelving, a new walk-in wardrobe and linings for two other existing wardrobes, and mirror-door cabinets for the bathrooms.
The team also created an impressive kitchen for the owners using lacquered MDF and with pocket doors and a large stone-topped island. Probably the project’s standout feature, however, is the six-metre long floating TV cabinet for the living area.
