Explore the beautiful design features of Edge Terrace. STUDIO GAXA were engaged by the client to provide internal renovations and interior design to this three story terrace located in the Heart of Paddington, NSW.

This 2-bedroom terrace had previously undergone an extensive renovation, from a commercial garage into a residential premise.

The brief of the project was to ensure safety and functionality of the design, creating a beautiful cohesive space from the downstairs area that had a more industrial feel into the the third level, where the master bedroom is located. This encompassed a chic adaption with an industrial edge.

An interior redesign was provided for the main bathroom, kitchen, master bedroom, living area, internal staircase and batten fixing details. The overall loo and feel was achieved through exposing structural beams, minimalist black ascents on an undertones white colour palette. The black ascents repeats itself in small details throughout the home, injecting a sense of subtle elegance without overpowering the integrity of the design. Mixing these undertones with a warm timber and a dark porcelain terrazzo feature floor tile makes this terrace not only eye catching but a comfortable and stylish living and working from home environment for the clients.

STUDIO GAXA also stripped back the main areas of the terrace to reinstate a home that felt architecturally tended by, including rectification to the space with remedial works carried out throughout the process of the renovation and build.
