The owner of this home, situated at Kangaroo Point, approached Studio Gaxa via LinkedIn to transform their existing home. Loving the location and charm of the existing home, the owners brief was to improve functionality and update the design.
The home originally had uneven ceiling lines, cherry wood parquetry floors with brass floor trims.
Studio Gaxa Director, Katherine Koulizakis got to work with the interior design and project management. With a focus on improving the functionality of the space, structural works took place t o open up the floor plan, update the 5 wet areas and revise all the homes finishes.
The kitchen was renovated to bring a new look and feel with attention to detail focused across lighting so that it matched handles, doors, taps, skirting, cornices and more
The design intent was to include elegance, minimalism and a tonality.
