Central Tce: elegant garden banner

An elegant garden for a classic Victorian villa. Designed for a busy working couple, with views enjoyed from the inside and out. On the dress circle of Wellington, with a formal garden in front and a private courtyard out back. Layers of interest, mixed balls & favourite chatreuse foliage. Lavenders are a favourite and are replacrd every few years. Coffee & paper? Breakfast courtyard outside the master bedroom.

We replaced limechip with paving & re-used the topiaries. Blue and white pots make a decorative herb and vege garden.

"You can be in any room in the house and look out and think - oh that is so beautiful", says owner Rose.  Rose recalls the garden as a weedy horror with scrappy trees.

Great gardens take time. "Invest in good design & implement gradually", says owner Tim.
