Finch Street

The heart of this contemporary Malvern East home, the kitchen is flooded with natural light from the courtyard adjacent and provides a social space for cooking, entertaining and enjoying the striking fluted cabinetry. Featuring Joseph Giles Ashworth knurled handles, Perrin & Rowe Ionian polished brass tapware, and the very spacious Perrin & Rowe stainless steel sink. A powder room off the main hallway offers a gorgeous surprise, with the tessellating terracotta ‘plus’ shaped tiles, from Popham Design, reflecting the quirky nature of The Water Monopoly Rockwell wall hung basin. Perrin & Rowe traditional taps in polished brass and the Armac Martin Leebank cabinet handle as a simple towel hook finish the space perfectly. This bright, modern bathroom is a joyful interplay between the tiled surfaces and the designer bathroom objects mounted on them: The Water Monopoly Rockwell bath with gloss black ball feet on beautiful Italia Grigio terrazzo with marble chip aggregate. The Perrin & Rowe contemporary shower in polished brass cascades gentle rain, while The Water Monopoly Rockwell basin on stand with black ball feet draws you to the eye-catching stone once more. Joseph Giles Jude cabinet handles dramatically frame the entrance to this reading room and office. The rustic tones of the Mid Antique Brass Waxed finish ties in beautifully with the black steel framed doors, timber shelving and mid-century table and chairs brought from the original family home.
