These Stunning town houses recently completed by Joyce Built make the most of their surroundings in the ever-popular city fringe suburb of St Albans. The exterior of these high-end homes has been completed in full using Specialized Construction Products EZpanel AAC panel cladding system.

Both Bruce Cooper Exterior plastering were excited to undertake a project which allowed them to make use of Specialized Construction Products New Powaflex and Flexiflat Acrylic plaster system to create the dark coloured feature walls with a flat finish and negative detail to complement thew crisp white colour of the traditional float finished walls.

This style is becoming very popular in conjunction with AAC cladding systems as it allow for the majority of the project to be completed in a single cladding which helps with project delivery times due to only dealing with the one subtrade for all elevations.

This type of lineal negative detail is only the tip of the iceberg as well, with the full range of Specialized Construction products NZ made acrylic and cement based renders allowing for all manner of finishes from geometric shapes to a natural timber stamped look.

Owners comments

"We were looking at using one cladding for the entire project for ease of construction and to eliminate awkward cladding junctions but were conscious that we needed to have a feature area to make the houses stand out. We chose to use Specialized EZPanel AAC system along with Bruce Cooper Plastering Ltd for this project as they offered a system that we could use for the entire cladding with different plaster options for feature walls. We chose a negative detail effect using Specialized acrylic plaster system of Powaflex and Flexifloat. This gave us a crisp feature that gives a look of a timber panel and has received many positive comments."
