Golden City Hotel: A sustainable interior fit-out in Ballarat, featuring recycled materials and local craftsmanship, completed within a $150,000 budget.
The Golden City Hotel is located on Sturt Street, Ballarat. The project scope included a new interior fit out with a budget of $150,000 (and it was delivered for this amount). In order to keep the project on budget all timber used was recycled from a local demolition yard with many furniture selections second hand. The tiled bar top works in with a simple palette whilst providing an economical and functional solution. All lighting was chosen from a local lighting Melbourne company which compliments a painted timber lined ceiling.
Location: Ballarat
Year: 2014
Size: 1000m2
