A fresh and inviting French-inspired bistro featuring a skylight and extensive planting, transforming a dark space into a vibrant dining experience while maintaining an intimate atmosphere.
Restaurant fit-out 2016:
Gover St Bistro is a French-inspired eatery and lounge delivering a quality dining experience.
The existing restaurant was a very dark, moody and intimate affair. The brief called for a fresh space that reflected the type and quality of food offered. A skylight filled with foliage brings new light into the heart of the restaurant. This light is then bounced around with the used of antique mirrors. The spaces remained similar proportions to the old to retain the intimate nature of the existing dining spaces. Extensive planting enhances the freshness of the space and contrasts the clean white panels.
