Greytown Home

We loved working on this project in Greytown. This stunning, architecturally-designed home featured Rylock Wellington aluminium joinery throughout.

THE BRIEF
Our customers, Ann and Kevin, wanted to optimise their sun throughout every room, to achieve optimal natural light and temperature regulation. To achieve this, we installed large thermally-broken aluminium windows and doors. These are designed to capture and manage sunlight, while standing up to the harsher elements. By taking into consideration all aspects of the customers’ needs and the home's design, we were able to create a space that is both stunning looking and functional. It now provides lasting enjoyment for the homeowners and their guests at all times of the year!

THE PROCESS
Right from the initial stages of the project, we worked in close partnership with the architect and Ann and Kevin, to ensure their combined vision came to life. This involved doing early site visits to assess the location’s potential and challenges, meticulous planning to incorporate every detail successfully, and guaranteeing great care and precision throughout the fabrication and installation process. We wanted to make the whole process as seamless as possible, resulting in a home that would exceed expectations – especially for Ann and Kevin.

THE OUTCOME
Every detail of this project has been carefully considered. From the doors set into the concrete floors that are flush with the deck, through to the striking red front door. Each element has been thoughtfully chosen and crafted to show the Ann and Kevin's personality, as well as their architect's style. This project was delivered on schedule and on budget, with everyone being delighted with the end result. It was a privilege for Rylock Wellington to play a role in creating this beautiful and functional home!
