Hauraki Garden Home
Completed in 2023, this contemporary home underwent a light interior renovation, with a colour palette drawn from the surrounding garden. Existing dark oak joinery was extended on by way of open shelving and entry foyer built-in drawers allowing for collected items from the client's travels to be appropriately displayed. A considered approach was taken to designing this shelving to accommodate key pieces and provide complimentary lighting for them.
An ivory coloured grasscloth-like wall covering provides a textured and layered feel to the lounge and entry areas and compliments the ethnic artefacts throughout. An existing pendant light defines the colour palette in this space with the furnishings and floor rug pulling all the elements together.
The bedrooms go playful with their curtain selection with complimenting decorative elements.
