Havelock North Residence

A Thoughtful dwelling nestled in the hills of Havelock North by Clarkson Architects enjoys spacious views over vineyards and out to ranges beyond.

Fortunate to have worked with both the client and Architect before. Quattro uno was engaged early on in the design, which we were able to work with both Client and and architect to achieve interiors that were intrinsic and woven into the to the language of the architecture.

The Hub of the home, this kitchen is ingrained within the architecture of the this home.  

Planning early on allowed for the integration of the kitchen seamlessly woven from exterior to interior, wrapping itself in cedar creating a strong aesthetic. The form continuing around into the entry disguising a secret door from dining through to scullery and drinks preparation. 

Textured Demastas stone clads the strong island form with rustic weathered timber seating situated at the far end which spills out to the pool area. A casual place for breakfast in the sun or drinks in the evening.

This is a confident kitchen with rich textures which integrates with ease in its environment. 

This home is beautiful example of collaboration alongside talented clients, and clever Architect.
