Heberden Residence: A striking architectural achievement featuring innovative CLT structural floors and wool insulation, set on a challenging steep site with breathtaking views over Sumner beach, designed by Aaron Jones of Urban Function.
Completed Year: 2018
Architect designer: Aaron Jones – Urban function
This was a really challenging build due to the extreme steepness of the site. This house incorporates some relatively new building materials with the use of CLT (cross laminated timber) structural floors and wool insulation. The design is striking and dramatic and the interior reflects this also. Beautiful close up views over Sumner beach.
