A stunning three-bedroom rural home near Wellington, featuring efficient spaces, opposing decks, and simple materials like ply and batten cladding, complemented by a monopitch roof and practical interiors, completed in 2017.
A beautiful site near Wellington's southern coast. An expansive site. Up high, with a view to the Kaikouras - on a good day. Mike, the builders' new three bedroom home. Efficient spaces capturing the views with opposing decks to combat the prevailing winds. Simple materials with cost effective forms. Ply and batten cladding doused with All Black paint. Simple interiors with Ash flooring surfaces and Okoume panel detailing. Monopitch roof forms stretching 32 metres in profiled metal. Plywood bathroom linings with Caroma fittings to meet budget and practicalities. A double garage for all the farming + building paraphenalia with an overclad plywood door to complete the picture.
Completed 2017
