Megafloor approached Jacks Point Clubhouse following a fire that happened towards the end of 2016.

The original floor was a great showcase of decorative concrete that had been polished up with older technology systems. It was a great opportunity to refurbish the fire damage within the reinstatement works that were planned in stages for 2018. While the floor had a little bit of damage, the decorative concrete was in fairly good condition. Megafloor local contractors Stone Heritage and Polished Concrete combined to achieve the outstanding result you can see in the photos.

Megafloor reprocessed the floor in stages and the results have far exceeded anyone on the project's expectation. This is one of the best concrete mixes we have ever polished up using the Megafloor High Street Premium system.

Here are a few benefits of using Megafloor:

  • Cost effective – Spending extra on floor covering materials like carpets and tiles is not required when using polished concrete floors.
  • Unlimited design options – Polishing concrete produces eye-catching results especially when working with such great decorative concrete as we had in this project.
  • Low maintenance and healthy – Polished concrete flooring is quick and easy to care for. Unlike wooden floors there is no need for stripping or waxing. They also do not trap dust, dirt, allergens, mildew and moisture like other flooring systems do.
  • Environmentally friendly – Maintaining polished concrete floor does not use hazardous chemicals or products. Recycled concrete can be used in the production of polished concrete floors. This not only reduces landfill waste but also preserves resources for future generations making Polished Concrete a very environmentally friendly sustainable flooring choice.
