Utilising colour in your kitchen can feel like a bold move. However, with the help of an experienced kitchen designer it doesn’t have to be quite so daunting.

After much discussion and research, the owners settled on Cruel Sea, a deep and mysterious green, for the cabinetry. The result is a dramatic kitchen space with style as deep as the ocean.

The stunning brass handles add a sense of luxury to the room and truly complement the Cruel Sea green. Under the bench, a bright and playful tile pattern makes the kitchen feel really approachable — it’s opulent, but it’s fun. It’s stylish, but it’s casual too. To maintain consistency and design detail, the same bright tiles have been used throughout the home adding character and charm to the rest of the house.

This kitchen has been extended to continue past its original boundaries into the laundry. A second sink and coffee machine were able to be incorporated into this new area, allowing for greater usability.
