Jervois Renovation

The renovated Herne Bay villa, makes the most of its inner city location with a spacious deck that links into the immaculate kitchen. This flow of living areas perfectly accommodates the entertaining requirements of a family and with the glimpses of ocean seen from next to the statement fireplace, teases at the idea of a relaxed holiday, without leaving the city. The home has been treated to a loving restoration by the builders, with mindful timber work seen throughout the bedrooms in the front of the house. This care taken is casually exhibited in the upstairs living room, where the beautiful villa meets a luxurious twist of the modern, with decadent crystal lighting conversing with kauri flooring and vintage led light windows. Tremendous copper shutters dawn the house on the western streetside. The craftsmanship of the shutters is a marvel in itself, and of superior practicality, allowing the natural light to sink into the home, while still providing privacy from the street and filtering the intense afternoon sun.
