Nature designed into the guest experience

At JW Marriott, the ambition was to create more than a luxury hospitality environment - it was to design a nature-led sensory experience embedded within the architectural narrative of the hotel.

GreenAir developed a bespoke biophilic planting strategy that integrates seamlessly into the spatial language of the interiors. Living greenery was positioned not as an aesthetic layer, but as a fundamental component of the guest journey - shaping arrival moments, enhancing spatial calm, and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to wellbeing-driven luxury.

A defining feature of the project is a highly customised moss wall installation, designed specifically for the space. This sculptural living artwork introduces organic texture, acoustic softness, and a sense of immersive calm, while acting as a visual anchor within the hotel’s interior environment. Its form, composition, and detailing were developed to align precisely with the architectural intent, creating a statement that feels both refined and deeply connected to nature.

Across shared spaces and transition zones, planting was carefully curated to soften material palettes, introduce movement, and create moments of psychological restoration within a sophisticated built environment.

This project reflects the evolving role of biophilic design in premium hospitality - where nature is no longer an amenity or embellishment, but an integral part of how luxury spaces perform and how guests feel within them.
