A visionary residence designed for a steep site, seamlessly integrating into the landscape with distinct lodging zones and a central 'Great Room' that fosters connection and light throughout the home.
Unrealised Concept
2023
Designed for a very step site with commanding views this large house sinks itself into the natural landscape. Portions of the house are bunkered into the hillside and enable shafts of light from above to break into the very core of the building. The layout allows for separate lodging with unique and separate zones which then journey to the 'Great Room' where stories are shared and connections are made.
