We were approached by young professional clients to upgrade and extend their 1950s weatherboard house close to the waterfront. Their desire to achieve an environmentally sound sensitive building for their expanding family was challenged by their almost inaccessible site. The resulting building form, composed of separately identifiable elements, has provided the sunlight and views they sought while creating a beautiful living mechanism.
The satisfaction of the project was made greater by the opportunity to design bespoke furniture.
