From an outdated pool, mismatched pergola and no outdoor flow, the final result of this project is a beautiful resort-style swimming pool with clear water, lush landscaping and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the rural outlook. And once the sun goes down, the pool is beautifully lit at night, turning it into a serene and relaxing oasis. The rustic pergola and outdoor fireplace provide the perfect place to entertain. The clients just love their new slice of heaven in the country. The Client wanted an organic shaped pool in the back yard for the family to enjoy, a place that would be their slice of heaven in a rural setting. The pool would have a beach entrance, a small seating area inside, a diving spot, natural rocks theme and a small waterfall. They also wanted us to integrate an outdoor sauna into the design, with a framed view to the ponds as a feature. Luijten Landscaping was awarded GOLD for Pool Landscape Design at SPASA NZ AWARDS.

It was a pleasure to work with Auckland Inground Pools to bring this free form concrete rock pool to life, the natural beauty of locally sourced rock features is complemented by the surrounding landscape design, Congratulations Auckland Inground Pools Ltd the winners of GOLD for the Bombay Freeform Rock Pool.

Our landscaping family consists of professional landscapers and project managers with credible, practical experience and a number of landscape apprentices who are at varying stages of their apprenticeship. We have an in-house design team that will present you with a landscaping plan after visiting your site, listening to your ideas and bringing fantastic landscaping solutions for your outdoor space.

At our yard we have built a showroom where our designers can guide you in what materials would best fit your project, e.g. paving, decking, lighting etc. You can also provide an existing plan to quote your project from and then we will guide you through the landscaping works from start to finish. Luijten Landscaping has a nursery that enables us to provide a large selection of the highest quality plants. If the nursery cannot provide the variety or quantity of plants for your project we will happily source them from one of our nationwide suppliers.
