Returning clients Claire and Josh had an upstairs bathroom that was very dated and in need of modernising. With a busy young family they wanted a space that was practical and functional, yet attractive, and both modern and in keeping with the style of their home.
We were able to fit a bath and a shower into the space, extending the end of the bath plinth into the shower creating a shelf added extra functionality without adding excessive cost. We opted for a wall hung vanity with generously proportioned drawers for storing everything a busy family bathroom needs to house. The wall hung vanity was chosen as it allows us to see the floor underneath and thus creates the feeling of a larger space.
Keeping the materials palette simple, and opting for natural materials for the vanity, marble look porcelain tiles and concrete pendent light fittings allowed us to create a modern, simple bathroom that also harked back to the original style of the house. This bathroom will look great for many years to come.
