Lynch Residence

Located in Brighton, just south of Melbourne, Lynch Residence sits close to the coast, drawing inspiration from its surroundings and the openness of ocean-side living. Both architect and designer embraced this sense of space, shaping the home to reflect the personalities of its owners. Designed by Auhaus Architecture and Ewert Leaf, the residence makes a distinct impression on both the site and the existing streetscape. The façade features bold red ochre battens, creating a striking visual identity, while the dramatic double-height entry to the left clearly defines the transition between indoors and out. This carefully considered threshold sets the tone for the home, inviting curiosity and hinting at the design narrative within.
