Innovative public structure in Christchurch designed for community gatherings, featuring prefabricated timber elements that facilitate quick assembly and a seamless connection to the surrounding pathways.
Architecture competition for a public structure in Christchurch done in collaboration with architect and urban planner Dr Silvia Tavares. Space aims to host community meetings and small events. Structural timber elements establish a direct dialogue with porticos on the pathway traversing the site. All elements are prefabricated and can be transported with one truckload and assembled on site on a single day.
