The bathrooms showcase Gia Renovations "considered" approach clearly. Acacia Beige French Pattern anchors the floors with natural warmth, rising up the walls in selected rooms to create a soft, enveloping base. Above this, Sora Bianco introduces a gentle contrast, used either on the upper half of the walls or as full-height cladding in the lighter, more serene spaces. Curve Marble Travertine forms the dado rail that separates these materials, adding a crafted architectural line that breaks up the finishes and reinforces the home’s subtle detailing. Significant attention was given to how each tile started, finished and interacted with adjoining materials, resulting in spaces that feel balanced and meticulously resolved. This level of consideration echoes Cirocco’s sentiment that “there was a lot of thought behind where each tile started and finished and how all of those materials would sit together.”

The powder room embraces a bolder expression. Versailles Checker Red forms a confident floor that continues slightly up the wall, creating a wrapped, strong visual moment. The remaining walls in Sora Bianco provide balance, allowing the checker pattern to stand out while maintaining a refined, cohesive feel.

A standout moment is the curved wall in the master ensuite. With a curved staircase positioned directly behind it, the design intent was to continue this architectural gesture through the bathroom. Selecting a tile that could follow the curvature seamlessly was essential, allowing the form to remain uninterrupted and strengthening the connection between the home’s structural and interior elements.

The entry introduces a shift in mood, bringing colour and heritage character into the home. Pompei Botticino Octagon & Dot creates a timeless patterned floor with natural variation and small stone inserts that add subtle pops of colour. It sets the tone immediately, offering a glimpse of the personality and material richness carried through the rest of the home.

Project Malvern is ultimately a celebration of detail, materiality and collaboration. Every tile, from the warm stone floors to the curved travertine rail and the heritage octagon entry, plays a role in shaping the home’s identity. The result is a renovation that feels layered, connected and full of character.
