A Beach Retreat.
Having owned this site for many years, the Owners, knew there were challenges with overland water flows from the drive and the view was easterly, so they missed out on the afternoon sun in the old home along with no respite from off shore winds. The land was also quite steep.
A separate garage and a new drive dealt with the water issues, and a western courtyard with transparency through to the views provided sunny, sheltered outdoor living.
The solution was meeting all living needs including the master suite upstairs connecting to natural ground on the west, while still enjoying the views. The guest accommodation complete with common room downstairs opens to the view and lower lawn.
