From what started as a reface cupboards, keep the bench-top scenario, a full renovation of living and kitchen was developed outlining an empowering journey for everyone. A spaceplan and 3D model was completed, moving through to product selection. Pocketspace couldn’t wait to specify the new Dekton concrete Kreta product which is a compact blend of a natural quartz stone, porcelain, and glass for this project.
A fantastic outcome of the redesign achieved almost double the amount of storage simply by taking the cabinets up to the ceiling, utilising corner spaces, and pantry drawers through the use of Blum hardware. The mitred edges of the Dekton Kreta on the waterfall ends are a particularly impressive detail from the cabinet maker.
Resene Tangaroa blue painted walls paired with handmade Watermelon Middle Earth tiles makes the final statement, complementing the industrial concrete kitchen. Pocketspace project managed the entire project including new timber Grande black planks from VidaSpace, fresh paint, building remedial works, and updated light fightings throughout the residence. Finished with a feature Navicula pendant by David Trubridge, this space is a special sanctuary to enjoy after a busy day at work.
