The Mayfair Hotel is a boutique hotel in Christchurch’s vibrant inner city. Our brief was to create a five-star environment with a premium feel and ‘cool’ urban vibe. 

We provided interior design throughout the entire hotel, including all rooms and suites, public spaces, lobby, reception and meeting room. Our scope also included both feature and general lighting throughout the entire hotel and interior/exterior colour palettes. 

Within the accommodation rooms and suites, floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to work with rich, sultry tones while retaining a sense of lightness. 

Guests are presented with a sense of luxury as they move through the hotel’s spaces. From reception to hallway, bedroom to bathroom, reginal cues and rich materiality provide the backdrop for an exceptional stay.
