Merivale Renovation

In Merivale, a carefully considered renovation has transformed an already architectural home into a sanctuary of refined calm and quiet sophistication. The project focused on redesigning key areas — the kitchen, powder room, master ensuite, and laundry — while opening up the floor plan to enhance flow and functionality. The result is a seamless fusion of sculptural simplicity and subtle elegance, where every detail and finish is thoughtfully considered. D. J. Hewitt Builders partnered with award-winning kitchen and bathroom designer Davinia Sutton from Detail by Davinia Sutton to make the kitchen a standout feature in the new open-plan living space. By thoughtfully layering materials, textures, and colors, the design brings depth and presence to the space without overwhelming it, maintaining a sense of balance and warmth throughout.
