By Natural Habitats Landscapes
This project is a heritage gem as the property id one of the "Seven Sisters" - an iconic housing development circa 1910 of seven period homes of similar design. All the homes reflect a quirky and charming quality. Therefore it was important to design a garden that reflected the unique heritage of the seven homes.
At the time of the landscape design, the home had recently been renovated by local architects David Ponting and Matt Fitzgerald creating a sympathetic merging of the old characteristics of the home with the latest in architectural design.
Our garden design was created with empathy for the recent renovation and pays homage and respect to the heritage of the home and surrounding street. The design encompasses rectangular and lineal design elements while also providing quirky and eccentric design that will stand the test of time just as the house has.
