Designer Lisa Thesing showed great respect for the heritage features of this Mt Eden Villa when being tasked by the owners to do a complete kitchen renovation.
Dezignatek Carbonite was paired with the Contemporary Profile to create a dramatic aesthetic, and to match the black freestanding stove. Antique brass handles and knobs to complement the brass fittings on the stove, and a traditional brass tap to go with the butlers sink.
Lisa also designed a mantle over the rangehood that referenced the mantle over the fireplace in the dining room. White marbled engineered tops and salvaged kauri from the ends of the old kitchen completed the design, and contrast beautifully with the Carbonite doors.
