Rhys Powell Joinery, a local company with over 20 years experience, worked with Navigation Homes’ architects and designers on the project. Owner Rhys Powell had used Meranti before in kitchens and stair treads and had no hesitation is recommending the “easy-to-use” product.

He says Navigation Homes liked the colour, grain and distinctive edge, which is used to full advantage in the eye-catching interior design.

The Meranti cleverly ties together the family areas of the showhome and combines with the crisp, white paintwork and polished floors to create a timeless, welcoming environment.

A bespoke ply table and matching seating complement a stunning entertainment centre that helps divide the dining and living areas. In addition to the stylish kitchen cabinetry, Meranti features in the minimalist fit-out of the perfectly conceived butler’s pantry.
